Physician Assistant specializing in Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgery. He is a 22-year veteran of the United States Army and continues to serve actively in the Army National Guard. Tony spent 10 years on active duty before completing the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP), graduating in 2015 with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Later, he joined Mayo Clinic’s Orthopedic Surgery team, where he has been proud to contribute ever since.
In his current military role, Tony serves as a USSOCOM Aeromedical Physician Assistant and Combat Dive Medical Technician, with expertise in pre-hospital trauma care, emergency medicine, and prolonged field critical care. At Mayo Clinic, his clinical practice focuses on Sports Medicine orthopedic surgery and the management of upper extremity disorders.
Tony collaborates closely with Dr. Jeffery Hassebrock, M.D., and has a particular passion for caring for tactical athletes, supporting the health and readiness of service members and first responders. He also enjoys treating orthopedic injuries in athletes of all levels, helping them return to their sport safely and efficiently.
