Summer Training Camps
Mayo Clinic Sports Performance—our team of elite performance trainers at Mayo Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine—has designed a variety of camps to help you get stronger, faster, and more confident in your ability to perform at your best.
The camps are for youth and high school athletes, ages 13-18.
There are four camps offered, each running Monday to Friday, 1-3 p.m. All participants receive a t-shirt and water bottle.
- Speed & Agility Learn the critical elements required for maximum speed and acceleration, and ability to change direction in the most efficient and quickest way possible.
- Strength & Power Become the strongest version of yourself by developing the essential skills and techniques to build strength and increase power output.
- Intro to Strength Training An introduction of the foundational elements and techniques of strength training for youth athletes who have little to no experience in a weight room.
- Intro to Olympic Lifting Learn the basic techniques of the clean and jerk and the snatch from our certified Olympic lifting coaches, and become stronger and more powerful.
